(REQUEST FOR ADVISORY OPINION)

ORDER

The President of the International Court of Justice,

Having regard to Article 66, paragraph 2, of the Statute of the
Court,
Having regard to Articles 44, paragraph 102,paragraph 2,of the
Rules of Court,
Having regard to the Order made by the President of the Court on
13September 1984fixing 14December 1984asthe time-limitwithin which
written statements may be submitted relating to the question laid before
theCourt for advisoryopinion, in accordancewithArticle 66,paragraph 2,
of theStatute of the Court,
Whereas by aletter dated 26 November 1984the Legal Counsel of the
United Nations, on behalf of the Secretary-General of theUnitedNations,
requestedthat the said time-limit be extended to 28February 1985in order
that awritten statement on behalf oftheUnited Nations maybe submitted
within the time-limit as so extended,

Extends to 28 February 1985 the time-limit within which written
statements may be submitted in accordance with Article 66,paragraph 2,
of theStatute of the Co;rt

Vu les articles 44, paragraphe 3, et 102,paragraphe 2, de son Règle-
ment,
Vu l'ordonnance rendue par le Présidentde la Cour le 13 septembre
1984,fixant au 14décembre1984la date d'expiration du délaidans lequel
des exposésécritssur la question soumise Cour pour avis consultatif
pouvaient êtreprésentés conformémentàl'article 66, paragraphe 2, du
Statut,

Considérant que, par lettre en date du 26 novembre 1984,le conseiller
juridique de l'organisation des Nations Unies a, au nom du Secrétaire
générald,emandéque cette date soit reportéeau 28 février1985afin que
l'exposéécritdel'Organisation desNations Uniespuisseêtre soumisdans
le délai ainsi prorogé,

Reporte au 28février1985la date d'expiration du délai danslequel des
exposésécrits pourront être présentés conformémentarticle 66, para-
graphe 2, du Statut de la Cour
