The International Court of Justice,

composed as above,

after deliberation,
having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court and to
Articl37of the Rules of Court,

Makes the followingOrder:
Whereas by an Order of May ~gth, 1958, the time-limit for the
filirig of the Counter-Memorial of the Governmeilt of the People's
Republic of Bulgaria was extended to June gth, 1959;
Whereas by a letter dated May 1959, the Agent for the
Government of the People's Republic of Bulgaria requested a two
months extension of this time-limit ;

ainsi composée,

après délibéréchambre du conseil,
vu l'artic48du Statut de la Cour et l'article 37 du Règlement
de la Cour,

Rend l'ordonnancesuivante:
Considérant que, par ordonnance 19mai 1958,le délaifixé
pour le dépôt du contre-mémoire du Gouvernement de la Répu-
blique populaire de Bulgarie a étérepogjuin1959;
Considérant que, par lettr14dmai1959 ,'agent di1Gouver-
nement de la République populaire de Bulgarie a demandé que
ce délai soitprorogé dedeux mois;

4 Whereas by a letter of May zxst, 1959, the letter of the Agent
for the Bulgarian Government was coinmunicated to the Age~lt
for the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland, who was asked to make known the vicws of
that Government on the request of the Agent for the Bulgarian
Government ;

Whereas, on May 27th, 1959, the Agent for the Government of
the United Kingdom stated that that Government had no objection
to this extension;

decides to extend to Augiist xoth, 1959, the time-limit for the
filing of the Counter-Memorial of the Government of the People's
Republic of Riilgaria.

Done in English and in French, the English text being authori-
tative, at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this twenty-seventh day
of May, one thousand nine huiidred and fifty-nine, in three copies,
one of which will be placed in the archives of the Court and the
others transmitted to the Government of the United Kingdom of
Great Rritain and Northern Ireland and to the Government of
the People's Republic of Bulgaria, respectively.

Deputy-Registrar. Considérant que, par lettre du 21 mai 1959 ,a lettre de l'agent
du Gouvernement bulgare a été comn~uniquéeà l'agent du Gouver-
nement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du
Xord, lequel a été invitéà faire connaître les vues de son Gouver-
nement sur la demande ainsi présentée par l'agent du Gouverne-
ment bulgare ;
Considérant que, le 27 mai 1959, l'agent du Gouvernement du
Royaume-Uni a déclaré que son Gouvernement n'avait pas d'ob-
jectionà cette prorogation;

décidede reporter au IOaoût 1959 la date d'expiration du délai
fixé pour le dépôt du contre-mémoire di1 Goiivernement de la
République populaire de Bulgarie.

Fait en anglais et en français, le texte anglais faisant foi, au
Palais de la Paix, à La Haye, le vingt-sept mai mil neuf cenf
cinquante-neuf, en trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposéaux

archives de la Cour et dont les autres seront traiismis respective-
ment au Goiivemement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et
d'Irlande du Nord et au Gouvernement de la République populaire
de Bulgarie.
