The President of the Court, HE Nawaf Salam, met with United Nations Secretary-General, HE António Guterres, on a recent visit to UN Headquarters in New York. Topics of discussion included the unprecedented judicial caseload of the ICJ and the need for enhanced support to allow the World Court to continue to effectively fulfil its mission as the principal judicial organ of the organization.
