ORDER

The President of the InternationaCourt of Justice,

Having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court, and to
Articles 44 and 45, paragraph 1,of theRules of Court,
Having regard to the Application by the Islamic Republic of Iran filed

inthe Registry of the Court on 2 November 1992, instituting proceedings
against the United States of Americain-respect of adispute concerning the
interpretation and application of provisions of the Treaty of Arnity,
Economic Relations, and Consular Rights between the United States
of Arnerica and Iran, signed in Tehran on 15August 1955, and arising out
of the destruction of certain Iranian offshore oil production complexes;
Whereas at a meeting between the President and the Agents of the
Parties held on 3 December 1992,the Parties agreed on the time-limitsset
out below,

Fixesas follows the time-limits for the written proceedin:s

31 May 1993 for the Memorial of the Islamic Republic of Iran;
30 November 1993 for the Counter-Memorial of the United States
of America; and

Reserves the subsequentprocedure forfurther decision.

ORDONNANCE

Le Président de la Cour internationale de Justice,

Vu l'article 48 du Statut de la Cour et les articles 44 et 45, paragra1,e
de son Règlement,
Vu la requête déposée au Greffe de la Cour le 2 novembre 1992, par
laquelle la Républiqueislamique d'Iran a introduit une instancecontre les
Etats-Unis d'Amérique au sujet d'un différend concernant l'interpréta-
tion et l'applicatiode dispositions du traité d'amitié, de commerce et de
droits consulaires entre les Etats-Unisd'Amérique et l'Iran, signéà Téhé-

ran le 15août 1955, différend qui a pour origine la destruction de certaines
installationsiraniennes de production pétrolière offshore;
Considérant que, au cours d'une réunion que le Président a tenue avec
les agents des Parties le 3 décembre 1992, les Parties sont convenues des
délaisindiqués ci-dessous,

Fixe comme suit les dates d'expiration des délais pour le dépôt des
pièces de laprocédure écrite :
Pour le mémoire de la République islamique d'Iran, le 31mai 1993 ;

Pour le contre-mémoire des Etats-Unis d'Amérique, le 30 novembre
1993 ;
Réservela suite de la procédure.
