Maritime Delimitation in the Black Sea (Romania v. Ukraine)
Extension of time-limit for the filing of Ukraine’s Rejoinder
THE HAGUE, 11 June 2007. The Internationa l Court of Justice(ICJ) has extended the
time-limit for the submission of Ukraine’s Rejoinder in the case concerning Maritime Delimitation
in the Black Sea (Romania v. Ukraine).
In its Order dated 8 June 2007, the Court fixe d 6 July 2007 as the time-limit for the filing of
that written pleading.
In a letter dated 31May 2007, the Agent of Ukraine had asked the Court to postpone until
6 July 2007, the time-limit for the filing of Ukraine’ s Rejoinder. By a letter dated 4 June 2007, the
Agent of Romania stated that his Government “[ did] not oppose a reasonable extension, provided
that it [would] not influence upon the fixing of the oral hearings”.
The Court adopted the above-mentioned Order taking account of the views of the Parties.
