THE HAGUE, 12 February 2007. On Monday 26 February 2007, the International Court of
Justice (ICJ), principal judicial organ of the United Nations, will deliver its judgment in the case
concerning the Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of
Genocide (Bosnia and Herzegovina v. Serbia and Montenegro).
A public sitting will be held at 10 a.m. in the Great Hall of Justice of the Peace Palace in
The Hague, during which the President of the Court, Judge Rosalyn Higgins, will read the Court's
Judgment.
lmmediately after the public sitting, the President of the Court will make a statement to the
media in the Small Hall of Justice of the Peace Palace.
Admission of the public and accreditation of the media
Members of the public wishing to attend the reading of the Judgment should comply with the
admission procedure detailedin the attached advisory for members of the public No. 2007/b.
Media representatives wishing to caver the public sitting should, for their part, comply with
the accreditation procedure detailed in the attached media advisory No. 2007le.
