Fixing of time-limits for the filing of the initial pleadings
THE HAGUE, 16November2006. The Interna tional Court of Justice (ICJ), principal
judicial organ of the United Nations, has fixed time-limits for the filing of initial pleadings in the
case concerning Certain Questions of Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Djibouti v. France).
In its Order dated 15November2006, the C ourt fixed 15March2007 as the time-limit for
the filing of a Memorial by Djibouti and 13July2007 as the time-limit for the filing of a
Counter-Memorial by France.
The Court adopted the Order taking into account the views of the Parties. The subsequent
procedure has been reserved for further decision.
