Fixing of time-limits

The following information is communicated to the Press by the
Registry of the International Court of Justice:

In the above two cases the Court, taking into account that the
· time-limits set out below were agreed on by the Parties at a meeting held
on 5 June 1992 with the Vice-President of the Court, exercising the
function of the presidency in the two cases, has by Orders dated
19 June 1992 fixed the following time-limits for the written proceedings:

- 20 December 1993 for the Memorial of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya;

- 20 June 1995 for the Counter-Memorials of the United Kingdom and the
United States of America respectively.

The subsequent procedure has been reserved for further decision.
