Border and Transborder Armed Actions (Nicaragua v. Honduras)

The following information is made available to the press by the
Registry of the International Court of Justice:

On 22 June 1987, within the time-limit fj.xed by the Court in an
Order of 22 October 1986. the Agent of Nicaragua filed a Counter-Memorial
in the case concerning Border and Transborder Armed Actions
(Nicaragua v. Honduras).

This Counter-Memorial, like the Memorial filed by the Government of
Honduras on 23 February 1987. is confined to questions of jurisdiction

and admissibility.

The ûrder of 22 October 1986 reserved the subsequent procedure for
further decision.
