ORDER

The President of the International Court of Justice,

Having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court, and to
Article44 of the Rules of Court,
Having regard to the Order of 5 February 2003 whereby the Court,
taking account of the views of the Parties,6fJune 2003 and 6 Octo-
ber 2003 respectively as the time-limits for the filing of the Memorial of
the United Mexican States and the Counter-Memorial of the United
States of America;

Whereas, by a joint letter dated 19 May 2003 and received in the
Registry on 20 May 2003 by facsimile, the Agents of the two Parties
requested that the time-limits fixed for the filing of the Memorial of
the United Mexican States and the Counter-Mernorial of the United
States of America be extended to 20 June 2003 and to 3 November
2003 respectivel;
Taking account of the agreement of the Parties,

Extends to 20 June 2003the time-limit for the filingof the Memorial of
the United Mexican States;
Exterzds to 3 November 2003 the time-limit for the filing of the
Counter-Memorial of the United States of America; and

Reserves the subsequent procedure for further decision

ORDONNANCE

Le président de la Cour internationale de Justice,

Vu l'article8 du Statut de la Cour et l'article 44 de son Règlement,

Vu l'ordonnance du 5 février2003 par laquelle la Cour, compte tenu
des vues des Parties, a fixé,respectivement, au 6juin 2003 et au 6 octobre
2003 lesdates d'expiration des délaispour le dépôtdu mémoiredes Etats-
Unis du Mexique et du contre-mémoire des Etats-Unis d'Amérique;

Considérant que, par lettre conjointe datéedu19 mai 2003 et parve-
nue au Greffe le 20 mai 2003 par télécopie,les agents des deux Parties
ont prié la Cour de reporter, respectivement, au 20 juin 2003 et au
3 novembre 2003, les dates d'expiration des délais pour le dépôt du
mémoire des Etats-Unis du Mexique et du contre-mémoire des Etats-
Unis d'Amérique ;

Compte tenu de l'accord des Parties,
Reporte au 20 juin 2003 la date d'expiration du délaipour le dépôtdu
mémoire desEtats-LJnis du Mexique;

Reporte au 3 notembre 2003 la date d'expiration du délai pour le
dépôt du contre-mémoire des Etats-Unis d'Amérique;
Rgserve la suite de la procédure.

sand and three, in three copies, one of which willbe placed in the archives
of the Court and the others transmitted to the Government of the United
Mexican States and the Government of the United States of America,
respectively.
