Having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court and to Ar-
ticles1,44,45 and 48 of the Rules of Court,
Having regard to the Application filed by the Republic ofea-
Bissauinthe RegistryoftheCourton 23August 1989instituting proceed-
ingsagainstthe Republic of Senegalin respectofadisputeconcerning the
existence and validity of the arbitral award delivered on989by
theArbitration Tribunal forthe Determination ofthe Maritime Boundary
between the two States

Whereas on 23August 1989a copy of the Application wastransmitted
to the Republic of Senegal;
Whereas the Republic of Guinea-Bissau has appointed as Agent
Mr. FidélisCabral de Almada, Minister of State attached to the Presi-
dency ofthe Council of State,andthe Republic of Senegalhas appointedM. Doudou Thiam, avocat à la Cour, ancien bâtonnier, membre de la
Commission du droitinternational des Nations Unies;
S'étant renseignéeauprèsdes Parties,

Fixe comme suit les dates d'expiration des délaispour le dépôt des
piècesde la procédureécrite :

Pour le mémoirede la République de Guinée-Bissau,le2 mai 1990;
Pour le contre-mémoire de la République du Sénégall,e 31 octobre
1990;

Réservela suite de la procédure.

Fait enfrançais eten anglais, letextefrançaisfaisant foi,aupalais de la
Paix,à La Haye, lepremier novembre mil neuf cent quatre-vingt-neuf,en
trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposéaux archives de la Cour et les
autres seront transmis respectivement au Gouvernement de la Répu-
blique de Guinée-Bissau et au Gouvernement de la République du
Sénégal.
