ORDER
The President of the International Court of Justice,
Having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court and to
Articles31,44 and 45 of the Rules of Court,
Havingregard tothe Order of 22October 1986,by which the Court de-
cided, interalia,that the written proceedings should first be addressed to
the questions of thejurisdiction of the Court to entertain the dispute and
of the admissibility of the Application and fixed time-limits forthe
of a Mernorial by theRepublic of Honduras and a Counter-Memorial by
the Republic of Nicaragua on the questions ofjurisdiction andmissi-
bility,
Having regard to the Judgment of 20 December 1988, by which the
Court found that it has jurisdiction to entertain the Application filed by
the Republic of Nicaragua on 28July 1986and thatthat Application was
admissible;
Whereas the suspension of the proceedings on the merits pending
settlement ofthe questions ofjurisdiction and admissibility hasome
toan end with the delivery ofthe Judgment of 20December 1988,and the
Court istherefore required to fix time-limits for written pleadings onthe
merits,
Having ascertained the views ofthe Parties, Fixestime-limitsas follows for written proceedings on the merits :
19September 1989forthe Memorial of the Republic of Nicaragua;
19 February 1990for the Counter-Memorial of the Republic of Hon- .
duras ;
And reserves the subsequentprocedure forfurther decision.
Done in English and in French, the Englishtext being authoritative, at
the Peace Palace, The Hague,thistwenty-first day of April, one thousand
nine hundred and eighty-nine,inthree copies, one ofwhich willbe placed
in the archives ofthe Courtand the otherstransmitted to the Government

mémoirepar la République du Honduras et d'un contre-mémoirepar la
République du Nicaragua sur les questions de compétence etde receva-
bilité,
Vu l'arrêtdu 20 décembre1988,par lequel la Cour a dit qu'elle avait
compétencepour connaître de la requête déposée l2 e8juillet 1986par la
Républiquedu Nicaragua etque cetterequête était recevable;
Considérantquela suspension de la procéduresur le fond, intervenue
en attendant que soient régléles questions de compétence etde receva-
bilité,apris fin lorsque l'arrêtdudécembre1988a été rendu et que la
