having regard to Arti48of the Statute of the Court and to
Articl37of the Rules of Court,
Makes the followi.ngOrder:
Having regard to the Order of 3 Se1958fixing 3 Novem-
ber1959as the time-limit for the filing of the Rejoinder of the
Government of the Republic of Nicaragua;

Whereas, by letter of 22 September 1959, the Agent of the Gov-
ernment of Nicaragua has requested the extension by two months
of this time-limit;
Whereas, by a letter of 22 September 1959, the letter of the
Agent of the Government of Nicaragua was communicated to the
Agent for the Government of Honduras, who was asked to make
known the views of that Government on the request of the Agent
of the Govemment of Nicaragua;
Whereas, by a letter of 29 September 1959, the Agent for the
Government of Honduras stated that Honduras would raise no
objection to a reasonable extension of the time-limi;
decides to extend to 4 January 1960 the time-limit for the filing
of the Rejoinder of the Government of Nicaragua.
Done in English and in French, the English text being author-
itative, at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this seventh day of Octo-
ber, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-nine, in three copies, one
of which will be placed in the archives of the Court and the others
transmitted to the Government of the Republic of Honduras and
to the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua, respectively.

Considérant que, par lettre du 22 septembre 1959, l'agent du
Gouvernement du Nicaragua a demandé que ce délai fût prorogé
de deux mois ;
Considérant que, par lettre du 22 septembre 1959, la lettre de
l'agent du Gouvernement du Nicaragua a étécommuniquée à
l'agent du Gouvernement du Honduras, lequel a été invité à faire
connaître les vues de son Gouvernement sur la demande ainsi
présentéepar l'agent du Gouvernement du Nicaragua;
Considérant que, par lettre du 29 septembre 1959, l'agent du
Gouvernement du Honduras a fait savoir que le Honduras ne
soulèverait pas d'objection une prorogation raisonnable;
décidede reporter au 4janvier 1960 la date d'expiration du délai
fixépour le dépôt de la duplique du Gouvernement du Nicaragua.
Fait en anglais et en français, le texte anglais faisant foi, au
Palais de la Paix, à La Haye, le sept octobre mil neuf cent cin-
quante-neuf, entrois exemplaires, dontl'un restera déposéaux archi-
ves de la Cour et dont les autres seront transmis respectivement au
Gouvernement de la République du Honduras et au Gouvernement
de la République du Nicaragua.
