The following information is made available to the Press by the
Kegistry of the International Court of Justice.

Within the time-limit of 18 darch 1988 fixed in an Order of
17 November 1987, the United States has filed its Reply in the case
concerning Elettronica Sicula S.P.A. which relates to a dispute between
that country and 1tal.y.

The time-ïimit for the filing of Italy's Kejoinder is 18July 1988.

As previously announced, the case is to be dealt with by a Chamber
which the Court, in an Order of 2 L4arch 1987, constituted as follows:
President Nagendra Slngh (India); Judges Shigeru Oda (Japan),
Roberto Ag0 (Italy), Stephen Schwebel (United States of America) and
Sir Kobert Jennings (United Kingdom).
