The following information is made available to the Press by the
Registry of the International Court of Justice:

On 30 Xay 1980, within the time-limit fixed by an Order of
20 February 1979, the Agents of the two Farties in the case concerning
the delimitation of the continental shelf between Tunisia and the
Libyan Arab Jamahiriya filed their respective Memorials: and these

were then comunicated to the other Party at a meeting with the
President the same day,

On 3 June 1980 the President of the Court, having regard to the
periods specified by the Parties in the Special Apreement throu~h
hi ch they referred the case to the Court, niade a further Order
laying down the following time-limits for *heir respective
Counter-i.7emorials :

-.Tuiisia: 1 December 1980:

- the Libyan Arab Jm.ahiriya: 2 February 1981.

The subsequent procedure has been reserved J%r further
decision.
