Registryof the International Court of Justice:

On 30 June 1984, within the time-limitfixed by an Order of
14 May 1984, the Ag,ent of Nicaraguafiledon behalf of his Government
a Memorial inthe case concerning Militaryand paramilita-r -yactivities
in and againstNicaragua(~icara~uav.- United State ----f Arnerica).

In accordance witha requirementlaid down by the Courtin tlie
Order indicatingprovisional measurew shich it made on 10 May 1984, this
Memorialis addressedto the questionsof the Court'sjurisdictionand
the admissibility otfNicaragua'sApplication.

The time-limitfor the filingby the United States of a
Counter-Memorial on the same questionswas fixed at 17 August 1984 by
the first-mentioned Order of 14 May.
