States of the Continued Presence of South Africain
Namibia South West Africa) notwithstanding Security
Council Resolution 21 (1970

The following information is communicated to the Press by the

Registry of the International Court of Justice:

On 26 January 1971 the Court made three Orders whereby it decided

not to accede ta the objections raised by the Government of South

Africa, tn its written statement filed on 19 November 1970, against
the participation of President Sir MuhammadZafrulla Khan,

Judge Padilla Nerva and Judge Morozov in the proceedings concerning

the above-mentioned request for an advisory opinion .
