Admission procedure for the public sitting on Thursday 13 .July 2006

MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC

THE HAGUE, 7 July 2006. An admission procedure has been established for members of
the public, including representatives of the diplomatie corps, wishing to attend the public sitting in
this case on Thursday 13 July 2006. Special rules governing access to the Peace Palace will also

apply.

Admission Procedure

Members of the public should submit an application for admission to the Information
Department by e-mail (information @icj-cij.org) or +31 70 302 2338) setting out the following
information: first and last names, title and, if applicable, the name of the organization or State
which they represent.

Applications for admission must reach the Information Department on or before
Tuesday ll.July 2006. It will not be possible to request admission after that date.

Access to the Peace Palace
So as to avoid long queues in front of the Palace, those who have been granted admission are
asked to arrive at the gates not later than half an hour before the start of the sitting. Please be

sure to bring an ID document.
Strict checks will be carried out. Only persons officially admitted and carrying valid

identification will be allowed onto the Peace Palace site.

Parking

No parking will be permitted within the Peace Palace grounds. Vehicles should be left in
parking spaces (generally metered) in neighbouring streets.
