President of the Court to deliver a statement to the media immediately after
the reading of the Judgment on Thursday 14 February 2002
THE HAGUE, 13 February 2002. The International Court of Justice (ICJ), principal judicial
organ of the United Nations, will deliver its Judgment on Thursday 14 February at 3 p.m. in the
case conceming the Arrest Warrant of 11 April 2000 (Democratie Republic of the Congo v.
Be1gium)at a public sitting as announced in Press CommuniquéNo. 2002/2 of 7 February 2002.
lrnmediately following ·the end of this sitting,the President of the Court,
Judge Gilbert Guillaume, will deliver a statement to the media on the Court's Judgment. Both the
readingof the Judgment and the statement to the media will take place in the Great Hall of Justice
in thePeace Palace in The Hague.
