President of the Court to deliver a statement to the media immediately after
the reading of the Judgment on Thursday 10 October 2002
THE HAGUE, 9 October 2002. The International Court of Justice (ICJ), principal judicial
organ of the United Nations, will deliver its Judgment on Thursday 10 October at 3 p.m. in the case
of the Land and Maritime Boundary between Cameroon and Nigeria (Cameroon v. Nigeria:
Equatorial Guinea intervening) at a public sittingnnounced in Press CommuniquéNo. 2002/23
of 3 October 2002.
lmmediately following the end of this slttmg, the President of the Court,
Judge Gilbert Guillaume, will deliver a statementto the media on the Court's Judgment. The
reading of the Judgment will take place in the Great Hall of Justice in the Peace Palace in The
Hague. The statement to the media will take place in the Small Hallustice.
