Progress and conclusion of public hearings
The following information is communicated to the Press by the
Registry of the Internatio~a Clourt of Justice:
The public hearings held by the Court on the request for the
indication of provisional measures made by Bosnia-Herzegovina in the
above case, which opened on Thursday 1 April 1993, were concluded on
Friday 2 April 1993.

During the first round of oral arguments, held on 1 and 2 April,
statements were made:
- on behalf of Bosnia-Herzegovina, by H.E. Mr. Muhamed Sacirbey and by
Professer Francis A. Boyle, Agents of Bosnia-Herzegovina;
on behalf of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro), by Mr, Ljubinko
Zivkovic and by Professer Shabtai Rosenne, Acting Agents of Yugoslavia
(Serbia and Montenegro).

The second round took place on 2 April. The speakers were:
- on behalf of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Professer Francis A. Boyle, Agent of
Bosnia-Herzegovina;
- on behalf of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro), Professer Shabtai
Rosenne, Acting Agent of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro).
