The following information frcm the Registry of the International

Court of Justice is communicated to the Press:

Today, May 5th, 1959, the International Court of Justice held one
public Hearing in the Case of the 8.3vereignty over certain Pontier
Land (~elgium/~etherlands ), during i~hich the Counsel for the Dutch
Government, M. hryckerheld i3isdom, presented the oral rejoinder for his
Government.

The President declared the oral proceedings closed.
