ORDER

Composed as above,
After deliberation,
Having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court and to Article 79ter, paragraph 5, of the Rules of Court,
Having regard to the Application filed in the Registry of the Court on 16 September 2021, whereby the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter “Armenia”) instituted proceedings against the Republic of Azerbaijan (hereinafter “Azerbaijan”) concerning alleged violations of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination of 21 December 1965 (hereinafter “CERD”),
Having regard to the Order of 21 January 2022, whereby the Court fixed 23 January 2023 and 23 January 2024 as the respective time-limits for the filing of the Memorial of Armenia and the Counter-Memorial of Azerbaijan,

Having regard to the Memorial of Armenia filed within the time-limit thus fixed,
Having regard to the preliminary objections raised by Azerbaijan on 21 April 2023;
Whereas, under the provisions of Article 79bis, paragraph 3, of the Rules of Court, the filing of preliminary objections by Azerbaijan had the effect of suspending the proceedings on the merits;
Whereas, by its Judgment of 12 November 2024, the Court found that it has jurisdiction, on the basis of Article 22 of CERD, to entertain the Application filed by Armenia,
Fixes 12 November 2025 as the time-limit for the filing of the Counter-Memorial of Azerbaijan; and
Reserves the subsequent procedure for further decision.
Done in English and in French, the English text being authoritative, at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this twelfth day of November, two thousand and twenty-four, in three copies, one of which will be placed in the archives of the Court and the others transmitted to the Government of Armenia and the Government of Azerbaijan, respectively.
