ORDER

The President of the International Court of Justice,

Having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court and to
Article44, paragraphs 3 and 4, of the Rules of Court,

Having regard to the Order made by the President of the Court on
16 April 1993, whereby he fixed 15 October 1993 as the time-limit for the
filingf the Memorial of Bosnia and Herzegovina and 15 April 1994 as
that for the filing of the Counter-Memorial of Yugoslavia (Serbia and
Montenegro ),

Having regard to the Order made by the Vice-President of the Court
on 7October 1993, whereby he extended to 15 April 1994 the time-limit
for the filing the Memorial of Bosnia and Herzegovina and extended
to15 April 1995 the time-limit for the filing of the Counter-Memorial of

Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro);
Whereas the Memorial of Bosnia and Herzegovina was duly filed
within the extended time-limit;

Whereas the Agent of the Respondent, by a letter with Annex dated
9 February 1995, received by facsimile in the Registry on the same day,
requested the Court, for reasons stated inhat letter, to extend until
15 November 1995 the time-limit for the filing of the Counter-Memorial

ofhis Government; and whereas the Registrar immediately transmitted a
copy of that letter and of its Annex to the Agent of the Applicant;

Whereas the Agent of the Applicant, by a letter dated 8 March 1995,
received by facsimile in the Registry on the same day, let it be known that
his Government considered, for reasons stated in that letter, that the
Court ought not to grant the request for an extension of the time-limit as
submitted by Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro),

Extends to 30 June 1995 the time-limit for the filing of the Counter­
Memorial of the Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
(Serbia and Montenegro); and
Reserves the subsequent procedure for further decision.

Done in French and in English, the French text being authoritative, at
the Peace Palace, The Hague, this twenty-first day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and ninety-five, in three copies, one of which will be placed
in the archives of the Court and the others transmitted to the Government
of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro), respectively.

ORDONNANCE

Le Président de la Cour internationale de Justice,

Vu l'article8 du Statut de la Cour et les paragraphes 3 et 4 de l'ar­
ticle44 de son Règlement,
Vu l'ordonnance du 16 avril 1993, par laquelle le Président de la Cour
a fixéau 15 octobre 1993 la date d'expiration du délaipour le dépôt du

mémoire de la Bosnie-Herzégovine et au 15 avril 1994 la date d'expira­
tion du délaipour le dépôt du contre-mémoire de la Yougoslavie (Serbie
et Monténégro),
Vu l'ordonnancedu 7 octobre 1993, par laquelle le Vice-Présidentde la

Cour a reporté au 15 avril 1994 la date d'expiration du délai pour le
dépôt du mémoire de la Bosnie-Herzégovine et au 15 avril 1995 la date
d'expirationdu délaipour le dépôtdu contre-mémoire de la Yougoslavie
(Serbie et Monténégro);

Considérant que le mémoire de la Bosnie-Herzégovine a étédûment
déposédans le délaiprorogé;
Considérant que, par une lettre avec annexe datée du 9 février 1995
et parvenue au Greffe le mêmejour par télécopie,l'agent du défendeur

a prié la Cour,pour les raisons exposéesdans ladite lettre, de reporter
au 15 novembre 1995 la date d'expiration du délai pour le dépôt du

ORDER

The President of the International Court of Justice,

du demandeur;
Considérant que, par une lettre datéedu 8 mars 1995 et parvenue au
Greffe le mêmejour par télécopie,l'agent du demandeur a fait savoir que
son gouvernement estimait, pour les raisons exposéesdans ladite lettre,

que la Cour ne devait pas accéderà la demande de prorogation de délai
présentéepar la Yougoslavie (Serbie et Monténégro),
Reporte au 30 juin 1995 la date d'expiration du délaipour le dépôt
du contre-mémoire du Gouvernement de la République fédérativede
Yougoslavie (Serbie et Monténégro);

Réserve la suite de la procédure.

Fait en français et en anglais, le texte français faisant foi, au Palais de
la Paix, à La Haye, le vingt et un mars mil neuf cent quatre-vingt-quinze,
en trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposéaux archives de la Cour et

les autres seront transmis respectivement au Gouvernement de la Répu­
blique de Bosnie-Herzégovine et au Gouvernement de la République
fédérativede Yougoslavie (Serbie et Monténégro).
