ORDER

The President of the International Court of Justice,

Having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court,
Having regard to Articles 31 and 44 of the Rules of Court,

Having regard to the Application filed in thegistry of the Court on
9April1984 by the Republic of Nicaragua,instituting proceedingsagainst
the United States of America in respect of a dispute concerning respon-
sibility for military and paramilitary activities in and against Nicara-
gua ;
Having regard to the Order made by theCourt on 10May 1984,bywhich
the Court indicated provisionalmeasurespending the findecision in the

case,and decidedthat the writtenproceedingsshouldfirst be addressedto
thequestions of thejurisdiction of the Court to entertain thedisputeand of
the admissibility of the Applicati;n
Having ascertained the views of the Parties,

Fixes as follows the time-limits for the written proceedings on the
questions of jurisdiction and admissibility

30 June 1984for the Memorial of the Government of the Republic of
Nicaragua ;
17 August 1984for the Counter-Mernorial of the Government of the
United States of America ;

Le Présidentde la Cour internationale de Justice,

Vu l'article 48 du Statut de la Cour,
Vu les articles 31 et 44 de son Règlement,

Vularequêteenregistrée au Greffe delaCourle 9avril 1984,par laquelle
la Républiquedu Nicaragua aintroduit une instancecontre les Etats-Unis
d'Amériqueau sujet d'un différendrelatif la responsabilité encourue du
fait d'activités militaires et paramilitaires au Nicaragua et contre celui-
ci;
Vu l'ordonnance du 10 mai 1984 par laquelle la Cour a indiqué des
mesures conservatoiresen attendant sa décisiondéfinitiveenl'espèceet a
décidéque les pièces écritesporteraient d'abord sur la question de la
compétence de la Cour pour connaître du différend et sur celle de la

recevabilitéde la requêt;
Après s'être renseignéauprès des Parties,

Fixecommesuit la date d'expiration des délaispour ledépôtdes pièces
de la procédure écrite relative la question de la compétence et de la
recevabilité
Pour le mémoiredu Gouvernement de la Républiquedu Nicaragua, le
30juin 1984 ;

Pour le contre-mémoiredu Gouvernement des Etats-Unis d'Amérique,
le 17août 1984 ;
