ORDER
The President of the International Court of Justice,
Having regard to Article 48oftheute oftheCourtand to Article 37
of the Rules of Court,
Having regard to theder of 12April 1967extending to 24 October
1967the time-limit for the filing of the Rejoinder of the Government of
Spain;
Whereas, by a letter dated 1 September 1967,the Agent for the Govern-
ment of Spain, for the reasons therein set out, requested the extension to
31 May 1968of the time-limit for the filing of the Rejoinder;
Whereas, on 1 September 1967, a certified true copy of the afore-
mentioned letter was transmitted to the Agent for the Government of
Belgiumwho wasasked to make known the viewsof that Government on
the request;

Whereas, by a letter dated 8September 1967,the Agent for the Govern-
ment of Belgium stated thatthat Government raised no objection as to the
principle of the extension of the time-limit
Having regard to the special reasons invoked by the Respondent to
justify its request for an extension;
Whereas, in the spirit of Article7, paragraph 3,of the Rules of Court,
the answer of the Agent for the Belgian Government may be interpreted
as an agreement in principle on the justification for an extension;
Extends to 31 May 1968the time-limit for the filing of the Rejoinder of
the Government of Spain.
Done in French and in Engiish, the French text being authoritative, at
the Peace Palace, The Hague, this fifteenth day of September, one
thousand nine hundred and sixty-seven, in three copies, one of which
will be placed in the archives of the Court and the others transmitted to
the Government of Belgiumand to the Government of Spain, respectively.

Le Présidentde la Cour internationale de Justice,
Vu l'article 48 du Statut de la Cour et l'article 37 du Règlement dela
Cour,
Vu l'ordonnance du 12avril 1967reportant auoctobre 1967la date
d'expiration du délaipour le dépôt de la duplique du Gouvernement
espagnol;
Considérantque, par lettreleseptembre 1967,l'agent du Gouverne-
ment espagnol a, pour lesraisons par lui indiquées,demandéle report au
31mai 1968de la date d'expiration du délaipour le dépôt dela duplique;
Considérant que leler septembre 1967 copie certifiéeconforme de
ladite lettre a été communiquée'agent du Gouvernement belge, qui

justifier sa demande de prorogation;
Considérant que, dans l'esprit de l'article 37, paragraphe 3, du Règle-
ment de la Cour, la réponse de l'agentdu Gouvernement belge peut être
interprétéecomme un accord de principe sur le bien-fondéd'une proroga-
tion;
Reporte au 31 mai 1968la date d'expiration du délaifixépour le dépôt
de la duplique du Gouvernement espagnol.
Fait en français et en anglais, le texte français faisant foi, au palais de
la Paix,à La Haye, le quinze septembre mil neuf cent soixante-sept, en
trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposéaux archives de la Cour et
dont les autres seront transmis respectivement au Gouvernement belge
et au Gouvernement espagnol.
