After deliberation,
Having regard to Article48 ofthe Statute ofthe Court and to Article 37
of theules of Court,
Having regard to the Order of 15September 1967extendingto 31May
1968the time-limit for the filingof ther of the Government of
Spain, Makes thefollowingOrder:
Whereas,by a letter dated 10May 1968,the Agent forthe Government
of Spain, for the reasons therein set out, requested the Court to extend
by one month the time-limitfor the filingof the Rejoinder;
Whereas,on 10May 1968,a certifiedtrue copy of the afore-mentioned
letter was transmitted to the Agent for the Government of Belgiumwho
was asked to make known the viewsof that Government on the request;
Whereas, by a letter dated 17 May 1968,the Agent for the Govern-
ment of Belgiumstated that that Government had no objection to the
request for extension;
Although noting with regret that the time-limitsoriginallyfixedby the
Court for the filing of the pleadings have not been observed, whereby
the written proceedingshave been considerablyprolonged,
Neverthelessextends to 1July 1968the time-limit for the filingof the
Rejoinder of the Government of Spain.
Done in French and in English, the French text being authoritative,
at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this twenty-fourth day of May, one
thousand nine hundred and sixty-eight, in three copies, one of which
will beplaced in the archives of the Court and the others transmitted to
the Government of Belgium and to the Government of Spain, respec
tively.

Considérant que, par lettre du10mai 1968,l'agent du Gouvernement
espagnol a, pour les raisons par lui indiquées, demandéà la Cour de
reporter d'un mois la date d'expiration du délaipour le dépôt dela
duplique ;
Considérant quele 10 mai 1968 copie certifiéeconforme de ladite
lettre a été communiquée à l'agent du Gouvernement belge, qui a été
invitéà faire connaître les vues de son gouvernemenà cet égard;
Considérant que, par lettredu 17mai 1968,l'agent du Gouvernement
belgea fait connaître que son gouvernement ne voyait pas d'objection
l'égardde la demande de prorogation;
Constatant avec regret que les délaisinitialement fixés parla Cour
pour le dépôtdes piècesde la procédure écrite n'ont pas étobservéset
que cette procédurea été par là considérablementallongée,

Reporte néanmoinsau ler juillet 1968la date d'expiration du délai
fixépour le dépôt dela duplique du Gouvernement espagnol.
Fait en français et en anglais, le texte français faisant foi, au palais de
la Paix,à La Haye, le vingt-quatre mai mil neuf cent soixante-huit, en
trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposé aux archives dla Cour et
dont les autres seront transmis respectivement au Gouvernement belge
