ORDONNANCE

Le Président de la Cour internationale de Justice,
vu l'article8 du Statut de la Cour,

vu l'article7 du Règlement de la Cour,

vu la requête,datée du9 avril1951 et enregistrée au Greffe de
la Cour le même jour,par laquelle le Gouvernement hellénique a
introduit contrele Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-
Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord une instance en l'affaire Ambatielos,

vu l'ordonnance du18 mai 1951,fixant les délaispour le dépôt
du mémoireet du contre-mémoire en ladite affaire, et réservant la
suite de la procédure,

vu l'ordonnance du 30 juillet951,prolongeant lesdits délaisà
la suite d'une demande de l'agent du Gouvernement hellénique,

vu le mémoiredu Gouvernement hellénique, déposédans le délai
fixépar cette dernière ordonnance,
vu l'ordonnance du9 novembre 1951,prolongeant le délai pour
le dépôt du contre-mémoirà la suite d'une demande de l'agent du
Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni ;

ORDER

The President of the International Court of Justice,

having regard 1:oArticle 48 of the Statute of the Court,
having regard to Article 37 of the Rules of Court,

having regard ito the Application dated April gth, 1951, and
filed in theegistry of the Court on the same date, by which the
Hellenic Government institutedproceedings in the Ambatielos
case against the Government of the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and'Nortlnern Ireland,

having regard taothe Order of May 18th, 1951, fixing the time-
limits for the presentation of the Memorial and Counter-Memorial
in that case, and reserving the rest of the procedure for further
decision,

having regard to the Order of July 3oth, 1951, extending the
said time-limits at the request of the Agent of the Hellenic Govern-
ment,
having regard to the Memorial of the Hellenic Government, filed

within the time-lirnits fixed by the latter Order,
having regard to the Order of November gth, 1951, extending
the time-limit for the presentation of the Counter-Memorial at the
request of the Agent of the UnitedKingdom Government ; Considérant que, par lettre du 8 janvie1952 ,'agent du Gou-
vernement du Royaume-Uni a demandé une nouvelle prolongation
d'un mois du délai fixépour le dépôt du contre-mémoire ;

Considérant que, par lettre du14janvier 1952 1'agent.d~ Gou-
vernement hellénique, auquel la demande précitéeavait été com-
muniquée, a fait savoir que son gouvernement consentait à la
prolongation ;

Décide
de proroger au 15 février1952 la date d'expiration du délai
pour le dépôt du contre-mémoire du Gouvernement du Royaume-
Uni ;

Réserve la suite de la procédure.

Fait en français et en anglais, le texte français faisant foi, au
Palais de la Paix, La Haye, le seize janvier mil neuf cent cinquante-
deux, en trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposéaux archives
de la Cour et dont les autres seront transmis respectivement au
Gouvernement hellénique et au Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni
de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord.

(Signé) E. HAMBRO. Whereas by letter dated January 8th, 1952, the Agent of the
United Kingdom Government has requested that the time-limit
fixed for the presentation of the Counter-Memorial be further
extended by one month;

Whereas by letter of January 14th, 1952, the Agent of the
Hellenic Governm~ent, to whom the afore-mentioned request had
been communicated, replied that his Government agreed to the
extension ;

Decides

to extend to February qth, 1952, the time-limit fixed for the
presentation of the Counter-Memorial of the United Kingdom
Government ;
And reserves the rest of the procedure for further decision.

Done in French and English, the French text being authoritative,
at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this sixteenth day of January,
one thousand nine hundred and fifty-two, in three copies, one of
which will be placed in the archives of the Court and the others
transmitted to the Hellenic Govemment and the Government of
the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,
respectively.
