ORDONNANCE

La Cour internationale de Justice,

vu l'articl48 du Statut de la Cour,
vu l'article7 du Règlement de la Cour,

Rend l'ordonnancesuivant:

Vu la requête, datée du9 avril 1951 et enregistréeau Greffe de la
Cour le mêmejour, par laquellele Gouvernement hellénique a intro-
duit contre le Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne
et d'Irlande du Nord l'affaire Ambatielos,

Vu l'ordonnance du 18 mai 1951, fixant les délais pour le dépôt
du mémoireet du contre-mémoire en ladite affaire, et réservant la
suite de la procédure,

Vu l'ordonnance du 30 juillet 1951, prolongeant lesdits délais à la
suite d'une demande de l'agent du Gouvernement hellénique,
Vu le mémoiredu Gouvernement hellénique, déposédans le délai
fixépar cette dernière ordonnanc;

Considérant que, par lettre d26 octobre1951 'agent du Gou-
vernement du Royaume-Uni a demandé une prolongation de deux
mois du délaifixépour le dépôt du contre-mémoire; INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE

ORDER

The International Court of Justice,

having regard to Article of the Statute of the Court,

having regard to Article of the Rules of Court,

Makes the following Order:
Having regard to the Application dated April gth, 1951, and filed
in the Registry of the Court on the same date, by which the Hellenic
Government instituted proceedings in the Ambatielos case against
the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland,

Having regard to the Order of May 18th, 1951, fixing the time-
limits for the presentation of the Memorial and Counter-Memorial
in that case, and reserving the rest of the procedure for further
decision,
Having regard to the Order of July 3oth, 1951,extending the said
time-limits at the request of the Agent of the Hellenic Government,
Having regard to the Memorial of the Hellenic Government, filed
within the time-limits fixed by the latter Order ;

Whereas, by letter of October 26th, 1951, the Agent of the United
Kingdom Government has requested that the time-limit fixed for
the presentation of the Counter-Memorial be extended by two
months ;
4 Considérantque, par lettre du 6 novembre 1951 l'agent du Gou-
vernement hellénique, auquel la demande précitéeavait étécom-
muniquée, afait savoir que son Gouvernement consentait à la pro-
longation;
Les agents des Parties ayant étéentendus par le Président,

Décidede proroger au 15 janvier1952 la date d'expiration du
délai pour le dépôt du contre-mémoire du Gouvernement du
Royaume-Uni ;

Réservela suite de la procédure.

Fait en français et en anglais, le texte français faisant foi, au
Palais de la Paixà La Haye, le neuf novembre mil neuf cent cin-
quante et un, en trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposéaux
archives de la Cour et dont les autres seront transmis respective-
ment au Gouvernement hellénique et au Gouvernement du
Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord.

(Signé) E. HAMBRO. Whereas, by letter of November 6th, 1951~the Agent of the
Hellenic Government, to whom the afore-mentioned request had
been communicated, replied that his Government agreed to the
'extension;
The Agents for the Parties having been heard by the President,

Decides to extend to January 15th, 1952,the time-limit fixed for
the presentation of the Counter-Memorial of the United Kingdom
Government ;
And reserves the rest of the procedure for further decision.

Done in French and English, the French text being au'thoritative,
at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this ninth day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, in three copies, one of which
will be placed in the archives of the Court and the others
transmitted to the Hellenic Government and the Government
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,
respectiveiy.
