Changes in the schedule of public hearings

THE HAGUE, 20 April 2010. The schedule for the public hearings which opened yesterday
at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the prin cipal judicial organ of the United Nations, in the

case concerning Ahmadou Sadio Diallo (Republic of Guinea v. Democratic Republic of the Congo)
has been changed. As a result of the current disruption of air traffic, the first round of oral
argument by the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the second round of oral argument have
been postponed. The new schedule for the hearings is as follows:

Monday 19 April 2010 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Guinea (the hearing was held)

3 p.m.-4.30 p.m.: Guinea (the hearing was held)

Monday 26 April 2010 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Democratic Republic of the Congo

3 p.m.-4.30 p.m.: Democratic Republic of the Congo

Wednesday 28 April 2010 4 p.m.-6 p.m.: Guinea

Thursday 29 April 2010 4 p.m.-6 p.m.: Democratic Republic of the Congo - 2 -

Accreditation

Media representatives and members of the public who have been accredited for the
previously scheduled dates retain their accreditation for the newly set dates. New applications for
accreditation will not be accepted.
