The Court directs the Republic of Nicaragua to submit a Reply and the

Republic of Colombia to submit a Rejoinder and fixes
the time-limits for the filing of these pleadings

THE HAGUE, 19December2008. The International Court of Justice (ICJ), principal

judicial organ of the United Nations, has directed the Republic of Nicaragua to submit a Reply and
the Republic of Colombia to submit a Rejoinde r in the case concerning Territorial and Maritime
Dispute (Nicaragua v. Colombia).

In its Order dated 18 December 2008, the C ourt fixed 18 September 2009 and 18 June 2010
as the respective time-limits for the filing of these written pleadings.

The subsequent procedure has been reserved for further decision.
