Extension of time-limit

The following information is communicated to the Press by the
Registry of the International Court of Justice:

By an Order dated 18 December 1991, the President of the Court has

extended to 9 June 1992 the time-limit for the written observations and
submissions of Iran on the preliminary objections of the United States.

The Order was made in response to a request by Iran and after the
views of the United States havebeen ascertained.
