The following informatiois communicatedto the Pressby the
Registryof the InternationaClourt of Justice:

By anOrderof 3May 1991,the Presidentof the Court,having
ascertainedthe viewsof theParties,has fixed thefollowing the-limits
for thewrittenproceedings in the caseconcerning EastTimor
(Portugalv. Australia),whichwas brought befort ehe Courton
22 February1991by the Government of Portugal:

18 November1991 for theMemorialof Portugal;

1 June1992for the Counter-Memoria of Australia.

The subsequent procedureis reserved for furthdeercision,
