Chamber to hold inaugural public sitting

The following information is made available to the Press by the
Registry of the International Court of Justice:

The five-member Chamber formed by the Court on 2 March 1987 to deal
with the case conceming Elettronica Sicula S.P.A. brought by the United
States of America against Italy is to hold its inaugural public sitting
at the Peace Palace at 12 a.m. on Tuesday 17 November 1987.

As announced in Press Communiqué No. 87/5, the composition of the
Chamber is as follows: Judge Nagendra Singh, President;

Judges Shigeru Oda, Roberto Aga, Stephen Schwebel and Sir Robert Jennings.
