The following information is made available to the Press by the
Registry of the International Court of Justice:

Public sittings to hear the oral arguments of the Parties in the case

concerning Border and Transborder Armed Actions (Nicaragua v. ond duras) will
open at 3 p .m. on Monday 6 June 1988 in the Great Hall of Justice of the Peace
Palace at The Hague.

These oral proceedings, like the written pleadings filed by Honduras and
ciicaragua on 2.3 February 1987 and 22 June 1987 respectively are confined to

the issues of jurisdic:tion and admissibility.
