Hearing to open on the merits

The following information is communicated to the press by the
Registry of the Internati-onal Court of Justice:

On Thursday 12 September 1985, at 10 a.rn., at the Yeace Palace

in The Hague, the Coiirt will begin oral proceedings on the merits of
the case concerning Military and Pararnilitary Activities in and against
Nicaragua, between Nicaragua and the United States of Arnerica.
