Right of Passage over Indian Territory (Portugal v. India) - The Court fixes the time-limits for the filing of the first two pleadings

Dans llaffaire relative au droit de passage sur territoire indien,
introduite par requ€te du Gouvernement du Portugal contre IlInde,la
Cour internationale de Justice a fixé par ordonnance la date dlexpi-
ration des delais pour la pr8sentation des deux premièrespièces de
la procédure écrite: 15 juin 1956 pour le mémoire duhPortugal et 15
decembre 1956 pour le contre-mémoire de ltlnde, La suite de la procé-
dure est réservée.

La requête avait éte déposéepar le Portugal le 22 décembre 1955.

The follmwing information from the Registry of the International
Court of Justice has Deen communicated to the Press:

fn the case concerning the right of passageover Indian 'territory
which was submitted to the Court by the Goverment of Portugal agalnst
the Crovernment of India, the lnternatlonal Court of Justice has made
an Order fixing the the-lMts for the fillngof the first two
pleadings as follaws: June 15th, 1956, for the Maorial of Portugal,
and Decernber 15th, 1956, for the Counter-Mernofial of India. The rest
of the procedure has been reservedfor further decision.

The Application in this case was filed by Portugal on December

22d, 1955.
