a,tenu en l'affair ees Minquiers et des EcrGhom deux audiences nu
coursdesquelles Mr. C.S. Harrison,Attorney-Generep lour l'ile de

Jersey, a terminé la plaidoirie qutil avait commencéelors de la
préckdente audience,

La prochatneaudience de la Cour est fixée CU lundi 28 septembre
à 10 heures 30. La parole sera dpnnée a l'Agent du Gouvernement de
la République frangaise, qui exposera la thèse de son Gouvernement.

Court of Justicehas been communicate to the Tress:

Today, September ath, 1953, the international Courtof Justice
held two hearings in the Minquiers and Ecrehos case. In the course
of the hearings Mr. C.S. Harrison, Attorney-Genera lor the Island
of Jersey, concluded the staternent which he had benun at yesterdzyls
sitting.

The next hearing will be held on Monday, September 2&h, at
10.30 a.m. The Agent of the Goverment of the French RepubXic will
be celled upon to staitcIts case.
