Vu l'ordonnance rendue par la Cour le 8 mai 1954, fixant au
2 octobre 1954 l'expiration du tiélai accordé au Gouvernement
du Guatemala pour le dépôt de sa duplique,

Considérant que, par lettre duI~~septembre 1954, l'agent du
Gouvcrncment du Guatemala a ciemandC:qu'en raison des événe-
ments politiques récemment survenus dans son pays ct de leurs
consécluences,le délai ainsi fixi: soit ~roiongé d'un mois,

Considérant que l'agent du Goilvernement de Liechtenstein,
à qui cette demande avait &téccrnmufiiquée, a, par télégramme

(LIECHTENSTEIN v. GUATEMALA)

The President of the InternationCourt of Justice,

having regard to Article 48 of theatute of the Court,

having regard to Artic37 of the Rules of Court ;

Having regard to the Order made by the Court on May 8th,
1954, fixing October znd, 1954, as the time-limit for the filing
of the Rejoinder of the Government of Guatemala,

Whereas, by letter of September rst, 1954, the Agent of the
Government of Guatemala asked that, in view of recent political
events occurring in his country and their consequences, the
limit fixed by the Order of May 8th, 1954, be extended by one
month,

Whereas the Agent of the Government of Liechtenstein, to
whom the aforesaid request was communicated, has, by telegram
of September 7th, 1954, indicated his agreement,

Fixes November and, 1954, as the time-limit for the filing of
the Rejoinder of the Government of Guatemala.
4 Fait en français et en anglais, le texte français faisant foi, au
Palais de la Paix, à La Haye, le treize septembre mil neuf cent
cinquante-quatre, en trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposé
aux archives de la Cour et dont les autres seront transmis respec-
tivement au Gouvernement de la Principauté de Liechtenstein et
au Gouvernement de la République du Guatemala.
