The International Court of Justice,
ha\.iiig regard to Article 48 of the Statofcthe Court,

having regard to Article 37 of tlie liulca of Court,

Mukes Ihefollowing Ordcr :

Having regard to thc Jiidgmcm'tof Iuly ~st, 1952, in which the
Court, adjudicating on the Prcliminary Objection of the Govern-
ment of the Vnited Kingdom of Great Uritain and Northern Ireland
in the Ambatielos case, found that it hacl juriçdiction to decide
whether the l'nited Kingdom was under an obligation to submit to
arbitration,in accordance with the Ileclaration of 1926, the dif-
ference as to the validity of the Ainl>aticlosclaim, in so far asthat
claim was based on the Treaty of 1886, and reserved its right to
fix by an Order tlie time-limits for the filing of a Reply and a
Kejoinder,
And whereas the 4gent of the United Kingdom Government, in
the course of an interview on Julyst, 1952,with the Vice-President
of the Court, acting asPresident in thc case, and in the prescnce
of the Agent of the Royal Hellenic Government, expressed a wish
that time-limits of three months should befixed for the Reply and

Rend l'ordonnancesicioante :

Vu l'arrêten date du I~~juillet 1952 par lequel la Cour, staturilit
sur l'exception préliminaire du Gouvernemcnt du Rej-aumc-1-iii de)
Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du Kord en l'affaire .?\~nbatielos,s'ïst
dit compétente pour décider si le Royaume-'L'ni est tenude soumc.t-
tre àl'arbitrage, conformément àla déclaration de 1926, le,diff6rc.iid
relatifà la validité de la réclamation Ambatielos, entant qutxccxttca

Considérant que l'agent du Gouvernement du Ruj.aume-Lni a,
au cours d'un entretien qu'il a eu le juillet19j2 en présericc de
l'agent du Gouvrrnement royal de Grèce avec le I'ice-Président de
la Cour faisant fonction de Président en l'affaire,primé son désir
de voir fixer les délais de trois mois pour la rPpliclue et pour la
duplique, And whereas the Agent of the Hellenic Government stated, in a
letter dated July Sth, 1952, that his Government was in agreement
with that proposal,
And whereas there is no reason why the proposals thus made
should not be complied with,

Fixes October 3rd, 1952, as the date of expiry of the time-limit
for the filing of the Reply of the Royal Hellenic Government, and
January 6th, 1953, as the date of expiry of the time-limit for the
filing of the Rejoinder of the Government of the United Kingdom.

Done in English and in French, the English text being author-
itative, at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this eighteenth day of July,
one thousand nine hundred and fifty-two, in three copies, one of
which will be placed in the archives of the Court, and the others
transmitted to the Royal Hellenic Government and to the Govern-
ment of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,

respectively.

Registrar. Considérant que, par lettre du 8 juille1952, l'agent du Gouver-
nement hellénique a fait part de l'accord de son gouvernement à
cet égard,

Considérant que rien ne s'oppose à donner suite aux propositions
ainsi formulées,

Fixe au 3 octobre 1952 la date d'expiration du délaipour le dépôt
de la répliquedu Gouvernement royal de Grèceet au 6 janvier 1953
ladate d'expiration du délai pour le dépôtde la duplique du Gouver-
nement du Royaume-Uni.

Fait en anglais et en français, le texte anglais faisant foi, au

Palais de la Paix, à La Haye, le dix-huit juillet mil neuf cent
cinquante-deux, en trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera déposéaux
archives de la Cour et dont les autres seront transmis respective-
ment au Gouvernement royal de Grèce et au Gouvernement du
Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord.
