nationale de Justice sont mis à la disposition.d la presse :

Le 20 mai 1961,la Cour irrternationale de Justice a rendu une
ordnnnance dans les affaires du Sud-Ouest africain (I3thiopl;ec. Union
sud-africain et Libéria c . Union sud-africain ),

Par cette ordonnance, après avcir constaté que les conclusions des
requgtesainsi que des mémoires deposés parles Gouvernements dernan-
deus sont identiques, mutatismutandis, et que, dès lors,les Qouver-
a nements de 1iEthiopie et du Libéria fontcause commune, la Cour a
jointles instances introduites contre lrUnion sud-africainp ear
ltathiopl et le Libéria et fixé au 15 novembre 1961 le délai imparti
aux deux demandeurs pour désignerdtun communaccord un seul juge
ad hoc.

Courtof Justioe is oommunicated to the Presa:

On 20 May 1961 the International Cowt of Justioe made an Order
in the South West Africa cases {~thiopia 2. Union of South Afrioa
and Liberia 1, Unionof South Mriaa),

By it~ Order, the Court, sfter finding that the aubmission of
the Applications and of the bIemorials filed by the applioant
Go~ernment sere mutatis mutadis identiod and that, accordingly,
the Governments of Ethiopia and Liberiawere in the same intemat;,
johed the proceedings instituted against the Unionof South Afrloa
by Ethiopiaand Liberia, and flxed 15 November 1961 as the time-limit

vrithin which the two Applicants, acting in concert, may ohaose a
single Judge ad hoo.
